Mali’s the big winner!... MALI Kanaba’s New Year started with a big bang yesterday when he won a Toyota UTE in The National’s year-end bonanza. The security officer’s entry was picked from among thousands of others from all over PNG for the grand prize at The National’s head office in Gordon. Mr Kanaba, who is based in Port Moresby, wept in joy when informed of his good fortune. He hurried over to The National and after the formalities, drove off in his spanking new UTE. There were also winners for other great prizes, including a flat-screen TV, solar panel and mountain bikes. – Nationalpic by AURI EVA
