Waigani cops on clean-up ops

By CLIFFORD FAIPARIK
Waigani police officers with their families took time out last Saturday to clean the Waigani police station in Port Moresby as part of the National Capital District Commission clean-up campaign.

About 50 members with their families began cleaning the police station – a second home to them – as early as 6.30am and finished at around noon.
Meanwhile, NCD Governor Powes Parkop said that he would also involve prisoners from Bomana prison to clean around the capital city.
Mr Parkop said this following the success of the first clean-up of which Bomana prisoners cleaned around Waigani last month.
