Four make head start for Samoa

FOUR bodybuilders from Lae, who have been selected to represent PNG at the Pacific Games in Samoa are appealing to business houses for funds.
They are SK Steel (90kg) division, Joshua Vuken (masters), Monica Mugarenang (54kg women’s) and Stalin Jash U70kg.
Mr Snax PNG David Mugarenang appealed to the business houses, corporate sectors and government agencies to assist them financially to offset their travel expenses to Samoa.
“Individual sports have won a lot of medals for the country and the people must be proud of our individual sportsmen and women and should help sponsor them to the games,” Mugarenang said.
