Sir Brian touching on issues affecting PNG

“TRUPELA Paset” should refer to a mini-poll carried by The National recently where readers were asked, “Shall the Catholic church and Sir Brian Barnes continue to speak out against the politicians?”
More than 80% of the readers who responded said yes.
Sir Brian is highlighting issues affecting our country as we approach the general election so that people would be more thoughtful and
wiser in electing their leaders.
I do not think he ever intended to incite people
as “Trupela Paset” tried
to suggest.
Furthermore, Sir Brian is a true servant of God who is bold enough to stir “dirty waters” so that there is change for the good of the country.
If you are a coward expecting change to come without boldly speaking out, then nothing will happen.
A servant of God who does not speak against evil in all its forms is not worthy of his calling.
John the Baptist not only prepared the way of the Lord piously, he radically called the people to “repentance and conversion” and that is what PNG needs now in order
to move forward.
Sir Brian is spreading the same message.
