Runners head to school

PORT Moresby road runners head back to school early tomorrow when they meet at Korobosea School at 5pm.
Three events will start in Gagoma Street, the distances being 2.2km, 5km and 10km.
All courses turn right into Korobosea Drive to start with.
The short-course people turn around at the second Eda Ranu pumphouse and retrace their steps to the start.
The 5km and 10km runners have more arduous assignments.
They turn right at Queenscliffe Street, then plummet down to Taurama Road before coming back to the start via a circuitous route around Pipigari Street.
The 10km runners do it all over again.
That’s tough going if the weather is like it was last week at the University.
But still they do it, rain, hail or sunshine.
The entry fee remains 20 toea and new runners are welcome.
