Private Companies call special meeting

THE Private Companies netball are calling a special meeting on Sunday to discuss issues affecting the competition.
According to the executive, problems that need addressing are registrations and rules and regulations of the competition, attendance and forfeits.
“We resumed our competition after the festive season on a very poor note for two consecutive Sundays and we do not want to have a repeat of this in round two, which commences next,” president Margareth Embahe said.
She said the meeting would reconfirm each company’s commitment to the competition.
The meeting will also give teams opportunity to discuss any issues or grievances they may have.
The executive hope to have all 85 companies represented at the meeting.
Despite the lull, the executive committee remain optimistic on the success of the season.
She urged all delegates to be punctual so that games would be played without further delay, after the meeting.
