Enlightened souls... THE age of enlightenment is worth singing about and these ladies from Vabukori village – a Motu-Koitabu hamlet in Port Moresby – were only too eager to express their joy and appreciation through the traditional Motuan Gospel songs called Peroveta. The occasion at the Sioni Kami United Church at Boroko last Saturday, was to mark the 40th anniversary of the church in Papua New Guinea. The guests of honour at the occasion included Governor-General Sir Paulias and Lady Kaludia Matane and the the national director of the Uniting International Mission Dr Kerry Erright. – Nationalpic by WILLIAM WILLIANDO
