THE takeover ceremony for a new deputy governor of Morobe will take place at the foyer of Morobe Tutumang building next Monday.

Morobe Governor Luther Wenge confirmed this yesterday.
He said current deputy governor Utika Siserta would pass the reins to Markham MP Konie Iguan.
“Mr Siserta, who held the second highest office in Morobe in the past five years, will now hand over the reins to Mr Iguan next Monday,” Mr Wenge told reporters at a press conference at the Melanesian Hotel in Lae yesterday.
“I want to thank Mr Siserta for holding the second highest office in Morobe and for his contribution towards the development of the province in the past five years, and wish him all the best in the future,” he said.
“I will also make an official announcement of the new Tutumang cabinet ministers over portfolios in health, education, agriculture, fisheries and law and order at the same time,” he said.
