It all depends on attitude

IN Papua New Guinea, we always expect the unexpected. I totally agree with the colloquial name.
The United States is informally known as the land of milk and honey. Whatever names they are called apart from their actual names depends on the attitudes of the people and the government.
Papua New Guinea is comprised of people from the Highlands to the coast.
It is blessed with a complicated and diversified culture.
However, we are living harmoniously because we love the Melanesian way of life.
Papua New Guinea is very unique because it is a beautiful nation with ugly attitudes.
We call evil good and reward laziness, calling it welfare; leaders abuse the power mandated by people but we call it politics; we have neglected to discipline our children and call it building self-esteem and bik name, we have coveted and envied our colleagues’ possessions and call it ambition.
We have exploited the poor, calling it blessings; we have mismanaged public funds and its office and say the economy has grown; we called corruption as a catalyst for changes; and we have hated our brothers and sisters, our fathers and mothers, colleagues, political opponents, enemies, business competitors and yet we are united and live as one nation, one solwara, one country, God bless Papua New Guinea.
So what else do we expect?
We will continue to expect the unexpected, if only we change our attitudes in this beautiful nation, PNG.
