DALMINE Construction company has sponsored two teams participating in the NGIP/Agmark 9’s tournament in Kokopo, East New Britain province.

The road construction company donated K2,500 worth of jerseys, shorts, socks and rugby ball to the two clubs.
Dalmine construction is a Kokopo-based company that is specialised in road construction, earth moving and plant hire and has also been involved continuously over the years in sponsoring teams in the local league.
Managing Director and owner Herman Toisat said the company was more than happy to be involved in giving the youths the necessary support they needed in their various sporting activities.
His manager, Augustine Kihil in support of his boss, added that company acted out of its community obligation to see that the youths were driven away from bad habits and that they were more involved in positive activities such as sports.
They said the sponsorship would act as a symbol of the community’s ongoing support to youths’ various social programmes, and would also go a long way in building them both physically and spiritually in sports and in their private lives.
Storms team manager Amos Makap thanked the company on behalf of the team and said his boys were happy with the sponsorship, as it would greatly boost their morale.
