Ousted Simbu head resorts to legal action

OUSTED Simbu administrator Joe Bal said yesterday that he was pursuing his grievances through the courts and should not be accused of inciting tension in Kundiawa.
“I have taken the decision to remove me calmly and am now appealing against the National Court’s decision,” he said.
Former acting administrator Joe Kunda Naur recently accused politicians of causing problems in Kundiawa and affecting the smooth administration of the province.
Mr Bal’s appointment by the National Executive Council was nullified by the National Court on Jan 14.
The court also ordered a review of the process of appointing a new administrator immediately.
