Air NZ cancels Nadi-LA flights

WELLINGTON: Air New Zealand has announced that it would suspend its three flights a week service between Fiji and Los Angeles from April 26, Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Instead, Air New Zealand would expand its code-share agreement with Air Pacific from four services per week to six services per week.
The code-share service would connect to and from Air New Zealand’s London services to ensure the flow of northern hemisphere tourism into Fiji, the airline said.
International manager Ed Sims said the code-share agreement with Air Pacific announced last year was working well.
He said it was pragmatic decision for the airline which is switching its Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, onto higher yielding routes.
The new arrangement meant Air New Zealand code-share services between Nadi and Los Angeles would operate every day, except Fridays. – PNS
