Review taxation policy, minimise fortnightly tax burden

I AM extremely disappointed with the Internal Revenue Commission (IRC) for imposing hefty fortnightly tax deductions.
In comparison with Government employees, the private sector employees are paying hefty tax every fortnight.
Although we are honest, committed and faithful to our specific field of employment in discharging our duties and responsibilities in compliance with company policies, yet we are taxed heavily in several categories as identified:
l Fortnightly wages or salaries tax deduction;
l VAT (10%); and
l Employer tax deduction.
The IRC should introduce a formula to effect the fortnightly tax deductions at a certain percentage from gross earnings per capita income earning per head.
In this way, it would have little impact on individual to enjoy a stable fortnightly income.
Once all the taxes are calculated and summed up, especially from each category of the deductions identified, IRC will always get sufficient funds for its operations.
I would like to ask the IRC to consider and review the taxation policy and minimise the fortnightly tax burden on the poor people.
