BPNG to take on Telikom

BANK of Papua New Guinea will have another easy win against Telikom PNG in the Corporate 9s competition tonight at Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby.
The bankers are leading the competition with 17 point, a point ahead of Institute of Business Studies and Paul Paraka Lawyers (PPL) Giants, who are on 16 point each.
Last week, BPNG defeated Ravenpol Tiges 14-12 to grab the lead from IBS and PPL Giants.
IBS and PPL Giant also recorded their win against Eda Ranu Rats (18-12) and Smart Bank Kundus (14-12) to finish second and third respectably.
IBS will meet Smart Bank Kundus tonight in the opening match of Round 7 of the Corporate 9s competition.
Tigers will take on SP Brewery Dragons in the second match. Both teams lost last Friday and they will be out to ensure they collect some points tonight.
Tigers lost to BPNG while SP Brewery were scared to take the field and lost on forfeit.
Telikom will have to play their cards right when they run on the field when they take on the bankers.
Air Niugini should fly over NCD. However, NCD have recruited well in former Kone Tigers five-eighth Micky and Kumul Eke Ene, who will be leading the boys from the City Hall.
NCD were outsmarted by Bishop Brothers Bulldogs 22-10 but they are sure to make up for the loss this evening.
Fincorp Cowboys should ride into town over Eda Ranu Ratz while Bishop Brothers will find PPL Giants too strong for them.
The final match should see Nambawan Super winning the match against winless Fire Fox.
The points ladder is BPNG 17, IBS 16, PPL Giants 16, Nambawan Super 14, Smart Bank Kundus 13, Bishop Brothers 121, Eda Ranu Ratz 12, Finance 12, Air Niugini 12, Ravenpol Tigers 11, NCDC 10, Telikom PNG 10, SP Brewery 6 and Fire Services 0.
