Super Six Series for B graders

PORT MORESBY lower grade cricket goes into its 16th week of competition this weekend.
B grade, which has the most number of teams (14), is now split and will remain that way for the rest of the season.
Pactec Kavari, Wesram Taora, TST Coasters, BNG Poreporena, PBC Dragons and SNS United are the top six teams respectively in B grade and will now play in a Super Six series.
Much like the super six format used in the last Cricket World Cup in the Carribean, over the next five weeks the best six teams play each other again with only four making it to the final.
In the Under 19 division, Airways Dogura (32) lead the pack followed by BNG Poreporena (27), Pactec Kavari (24) and Wesram Taora (21) completing the top four.
KCC (21) sit outside of the top four followed by Raukele (16) along with SNS United (11) and are still close enough if they are good enough.
The Under 16 competition holds no mysteries as to how the final four will look with a 13 point gap separating fourth place from fifth.
PBC Dragons (21) lead with BNG Poreporena (19) at their heels followed by KCC (16) and Airways Dogura (15).
The women’s division will have their final two round of matches played back to back this weekend due to field shortages and also to have representative players involved in the final series after international duties.
