PM urged to deliver to his people, Wewak

I am writing in support of the article PM urged to focus on his hometown people (The National, Jan 18).
Surely, this is a fact about Wewak town. I feel very sorry for the people and the province. I thought Wewak has improved a lot after all these years. Our PM is from that place.
I was a student at Kaindi Teachers College three decades age (1976-1977) and all that Val Bai mentioned is still some scene as I saw myself.
I can also remember reading an article some years ago when rascalism was a big problem. You urged everyone and especially the government to bring government services to the rural areas.
You did spent a lot of money to bring government services like electricity, sealed roads and communication services and for all these may I take this opportunity to thank you very much on behalf of all Papua New Guineans.
Rabaul is one of the places that has benefited a lot from services provided by your government.
Have you got all those in Wewak?
If yes, then congratulation and if not do it now or else it will be too late.

Heddy Donald
