Wau ready to host challenge

A local organising committee has been formed to prepare for the Momase Regional Football Assocation championships in Wau on March 19-24.
Wau Soccer Association president Shem Farock confirmed that WSA had appointed councilor Bruno Pambel to head the committee.
All the accommodations, security and the grounds arrangements had been finalised to allow the teams sufficient time to contact the LOC in Wau to book accommodations for them over the duration of the championships,” Farock said yesterday.
Farock urged more women teams to register to take part in the regional championships as this is the only opportunity to them to expose their hidden soccer talents.
Farock said all the participating teams must pay K300 nomination fees into the Wau Soccer Association’s Wau Micro bank account number 1000-1196696 into BSP Bulolo branch and fax the bank receipts to 4746345/4746324.
