BSP Hagen badly needs a re-think

Please allow me to express my disappointment, on behalf of hundreds of other customers, over the BSP Bank service at the Mt Hagen branch.
Almost everyday customers like me queue in front of the bank as early as 6am. By 7 or 7.30am, the line reaches the Telekom fence and public phone booth. The queue stays that way for four to five hours.
Even as late as 3pm, you still see people queuing outside the bank. This has now become a normal day to day banking thing with bank tellers serving up to 200-300 customers Monday to Friday.
They are not only serving Western Highlanders, but are serving customers from Enga, Southern Highlands, Simbu and some as far as Eastern Highlands.
I have seen the tellers trying their very best to serve everyone, some staying up as late as 7-8pm, only to come back the next day to face the same queues.
Worse still is the ATM system. There are seven or eight ATM machines at the bank, with only two or three working.
The queue at the ATMs on a busy day goes as far as the Air Niugini ticketing office and you’ll have to wait one to two hours before being served.
These issues are being raised because every time you go to do banking, it is the same all the time. The question is:
l What is the management doing about it?
l Are there any plans to improve the service?
l Is the BSP management aware of the issue in Mt Hagen?
I would like to recommend more ATMs should be installed around the city (the Mt Hagen market is an ideal location).
I know BSP is a large bank and does not care whether it loses one or two customes, but if the situation in Mt Hagen is not improved, BSP will certainly lose one customer.

Irritated and Frustrated.
