Final look at PCNC netball

THE most active and successful off-season netball competition, the Private Companies netball will complete its season proper this weekend.
A member of PCNC executive committee Violet Banian said the executives are urging every team to come along and complete their season in the true spirit of sportsmanship at Rita Flynn’s court on Sunday.
She also thanked those who made time available to attend the last meeting to discuss the grand final schedules.
The tentative dates as agreed by the quorum on Sunday are: Feb 24 minor preliminary finals; March 2 major semi finals; March 9 PCNC breaks; March 15 grand final day, and presentation of trophies.
The presentation coincides with the Corporate Fundraising Night.
Banian said her executive with the help of Julianne Leka-Maliaki is sourcing a guest of honour from Netball Queensland to add more flavour to the grand final day as well as the corporate night.
She said the invoices for the corporate night are been handed out by the executive and she ask those responsible to sell them so they don’t miss out on the night. She added that March 15 is the night for the ladies.
