Samana’s campaign gains momentum

THE campaign by Utula Samana, a former Morobe premier and MP, for the Lae Open seat is gaining momentum.
Mr Samana has confirmed that he is in the race against current Lae MP, Bart Philemon, who has held the post for three terms.
He is expected to take centre stage, when his People’s National Congress party meets in Lae tomorrow.
The selection and endorsements of candidates for the coming national election is among other agendas expected to be discussed during this meet.
Meanwhile, the New Generation Party (NGP) is making its own preparation to launch its Lae branch next month.
