Allen, Abal lauded for good leadership

On behalf of transparency-loving people, I would like to convey my sincere thanks to the Minister for Environment and Conservation Benny Allen, and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sam Abal.
Mr Benny’s revelation (The National Feb 4) is a victory in the name of transparency.
You chose the path of honesty and integrity.
The ordinary people who have been victimised over those years now see more hope because of your courage.
Minister Abal’s leadership on the other hand is also worth noting, especially the courageous move in cracking down on illegal immigrants and the push for better implementation of policies within your department. This is a sign of a true reformer.
The two of you are true patriots in the fight for justice and equality – a fight long been forsaken for “corrupt goodies”.
You two are leaders who “can’t be bought or sold”, a trait that is rare in the political world.
It is our deepest wish that other ministers, fellow MPs and sectional heads of our nation’s organisations and departments follow in your footsteps.
