By MICHELLE YIPRUKAMAN
THE Henganofi community within the National Capital District (NCD) has pledged to support NCD Governor Wari Vele and Minister for Lands and Physical Planning and Abau Open MP Dr Puka Temu in the national elections in June.
National Alliance Party (NA) intending candidate and Kuana Bush Association chairman Terry Kajona said last Thursday that the Henganofi community in NCD, who were members of his association, would support Mr Vele and Dr Temu in the coming election as they were financial members of the NA office in Port Moresby.
“We gave out 7,000 membership forms, 3,000 have been collected and confirmed as financial members of NA.
NA secretary-general Steven Pokawin acknowledged that the Southern region had a big number of party members and supporters.
He said that the fundamental base of the formation of the party was for the people to which he was thankful for the people of Henganofi in supporting NA.
