Rental demands for NHC are weird

A COUPLE of weeks ago, some National Housing Corporation tenants in Port Moresby were issued with debit notes on arrears with the corporation.
I find this rather intriguing because I know that I do not owe anything to the National Housing Corporation.
With the exception of a cash payment in early 2000, every other payment, since my employment in the public service, was made through salary deduction.
Therefore, I fail to understand how I can be in arrears.
We were given until Feb 9 to settle such outstanding accounts.
I had, for the past week, tried to see the NHC management about this but every time I went to the office, no one was there to attend to my query.
I was always given a run-around.
While I am still running around trying to see the right people with my query, the deadline given to settle this arrear has lapsed.
What do I do now? Do I wait for an eviction notice?
