Tighten immigration laws

The Government of Papua New Guinea needs to tighten its immigration laws and to reduce the high level of bribery and corruption within the department
Over the years, there has been an influx of illegal immigrants with intensions that are not in the best interest for development of this wonderful nation.
Making money under the “corruption umbrella” has been killing our nation for a while.
That has led to local business opportunities getting into the hands of foreign sharks with bureaucrats and politicians attached to the deals.
Some of the foreigners have been living and doing businesses in Papua New Guinea for ages without proper work permits or business visas.
This is also a national security issue.
Our society will be prone to corruption if our laws are not strictly enforced.
Believe it or not, PNG has become a target for many foreigners who believe they can easily come in and manipulate our laws.
Foreign investment is good for the nation but there are laws in place which must be followed.
