Shaky Rapatona

Rapatona are in a shaky position on fourth spot (15 points), one point ahead of in-form Welgris Highlanders (14), but behind Hekari United 20, Gelle Hills 18 and Morobe Kumuls 17.
The other clubs are Besta Fights (7) and Madang Fox (4).
Rapatona have a tough task on hand when they take on Gelle Hills tomorrow while Hekari United can expect a good match from Welgris Highlanders.
Coach Kisakiu Posman knows well it won’t be an easy task for his boys.
Rapatona will field a full strength team against Gelle Hills who will be without ace striker Tau Winnie.
Posman and his trainer Clement Cafu Anisan said they had been working hard all week at training to find a formidable attacking combination to topple Gelle Hills.
Lanky Ricky Mesak, Adolf Horris, Michael Sigamata, John Baulo and Clinton Caleb will look after the backline while skipper Russel Inai, Robert Diau, Chique Posman and Selan Elizah will control the mid-field, and Ravu Habuka and Percy Mataio the forwards.
Gelle Hills should make use of their young players such as Harold Dabema and Felix Pondaluk apart from experience players such as Desmond Sow, Desmond Waku, Ila Ilaita, Jeremy Masalo, Ben Lakasa and Peter Kareva.
It should be an interesting game to watch.
The showdown between United and Highlanders has been billed as ìDavid versus Goliathî because Highlanders have been weakened by the absence Samuel Kini, Anton Pipi, Mathias Apo and Koriak Upaiga. These players and coach Pius Letenge are in the Under 23 team which is currently in training for the upcoming Olympic qualifier in Fiji.
However, stand-in coach Andrew Bain has skipper Ian Yanum to lead the Highlanders. He will receive assistance from Eza Nasa and Philip Apo.
United on the other hand will want to maintain their top position and will come out firing from all cylinders.
All eyes will be on team’s scoring machines Kema Jack, Benjamin Mela and Andrew Lepani.
Solomon Islands’ Abraham Iniga and Jack Samani have itchy feet and want to score goals to complete their NSL season on the high note.
