According to the latest poll by The National almost 100% of people want Digicel to keep its international telecommunications gateway.
Could the Government and ICCC let Digicel have its current international gateway rather than forcing it to use the Telikom gateway as suggested?
The Government of the day must focus on bringing PNG forward.
We must do away with the snail pace mentality in trying to achieve faster development.
Since Digicel entered the market there has been a 0.7% increase in our gross domestic product.
If the Government forces Digicel to use Telikom’s gateway, the public will experience an increase in charges and vandalism will also occur at a higher rate.
