Selection of U19 cricket team unfair

When viewing the telecast match between PNG U19 and the India team in the ICC tournament in Malaysia, we were disturbed and embarrassed by the way our team played.
They were beaten by a very big margin which is not very professional in the international arena.
I think it is time to blame the national selectors because of the way the team was picked. There seems to be favouritism in the selection criteria and this should be properly looked at.
I say this because our two junior heroes of the U17 team to Samoa last year were dropped from the U19 national team without any good reason.
These two youngsters played very well and their performance at the start of this season was very good but they were somehow dropped from the training squad for no good reason
These also applied to our neighboring team – KCC of Kirakira village.
They had a couple of their U19 junior stars dropped from the squad.
I believe if these young Koitabuans were in the team, then there could be a different result because they can bowl very well.
I would like to call on the chairman of the PMCC Babani Maraga to make his stand and look into the whole selection criteria to put a stop to favouritism.
