tour operator,TPA
I have been a PNG visiter for 15 years. We visit
regularly and have experienced the best and the worst of this wonderful
country.
Each time I visit I am appalled by the poor service and atrocious prices
charged by tourism operators. And they wonder why tourism, with a few
exceptions, is such a miserable failure.
For example, I will be in PNG later this year and I have been trying for
a couple of weeks to email a tour operator regarding a Sepik River tour.
I can’t even get a reply. I’ve emailed PNG Tourism Authority and can’t
get a reply from them either.
No point in phoning, the international lines almost never work.
If tourism in PNG really wants to advance, they’d better get their act
together first!
