Dogs blackout opponent

WRONG options and a disallowed try to Kenesi Blacks gave Mix Dogs a 16-10 victory in the main game of the Hohola Powes Parkop Off-season rugby league competition on Sunday.
The try would have been the turning point for Kenesi Blacks who had trailed 10-12 up until then.
With 10 minutes remaining on the clock and trailing, a grubber kick by Blacks halfback Tobby Owen saw Mix Dogs fullback David Josh fumble on the 20m mark.
Blacks fullback Allan Brown toed the ball in-goal to score under the posts.
But instead of playing advantage and awarding the try the referee called back play for the first knock-on.
Mix Dogs scored from there and went on to win the game.
In other games, GSI Sikin Bros beat Mukies 32-8, Murray Barracks beat GH Eagles 2-0, Omaki Namon beat Freeway Bumpers 20-4, and Hoks5 Dragons beat Garia Chiefs 18-6.
