Mt Hagen tribal
clash bad for everyone
The ongoing tribal clash at Mt Hagen started three
weeks ago and has a long time to solve.
The problem erupted over disputed among some people from Mt Hagen and
Engan settlers.
The police force in Mt Hagen is useless beyond comprehension.
Mt Hagen is full of innocent people from all over PNG, including
foreigners. They need to travel and work freely; the Okuku Highway must
be free. The bus stop, especially the Engan stop, must be in operation.
People from Enga, SHP and Simbu contribute to development of this city.
Engans have families in Mt Hagen, where their kids going to school just
like people from the Moge or Jika tribes.
If Engans are forced to leave Mt Hagen it will become a ghost town.
We are the brothers and sisters among only a few rotten apples.
I call on the provincial police commander with your mighty 300 men team
in the city to declare the city free and safe, especially Enga bus
stops.
You can see right now that the Enga bus stop is empty everyday.
Is it safe for me, PPC?
Concerned Engan
Wabag.
