Daltron book grand final berth in netball

DALTRON booked the first grand final berth in the clash of the IT company against Datec winning 21-15 on Saturday in the Division One.
The girls from Gordons will have rest while Datec will taking on Kenmore this weekend to determine who takes the second grand final spot.
Daltron have been undefeated in the season with committed players such as Pamela Penrose (GS), Cecilia Maurice (GA), Iru Gabi (WA) and Lau Raw leading the onslaught for the team.
In defence Janet Arua (WD), Dianna Penrose GD) and Millicent Kapi (GK) were outstanding against their opponent
Their reserve players Priscilla Hillary, Naomi Tau and Miriam Ute also gave their best show when call upon.
In the game last weekend, Maurice was outstanding in the shooting circle assisted by Pamela Penrose. While at the other end of the court the. Their defence worked tirelessly to block out and intercept the Datec shooters.
The mid-courters also put up a strong fight going for every opportunity and forcing errors to win back the ball. Team Daltron will not be sitting on their laurels these next two weeks while waiting for the Grand Final, but will be hard at training to work on our weak spots and game plan for the Grand Final.
In the premier divisions, Westpac booked the first spot in the after defeating BSP 24-22 while in the sudden death play-off, NTIL send Fairdeal packing with 19-14 victory.
