UPNG Open College students facing difficulties to register

The University of Papua New Guinea is conducting its registration for both new and continuing students throughout this week, but some students are faced with a difficult predicament.
These students, who enrolled through the UPNG Open College commencing last year in the Bachelor of Business and Management program, have found their ability to register at UPNG is at stake.
They received a guarantee from the director in charge of their ability to continue their studies this year through the internal mode.
These students had completed eight prerequisite courses at a cost of K500.00 per course. Up to this time, it seems there is no proper channel for them to commence internal programs at UPNG.
This makes it look like the Open College Program has purely been established as a money making concern.
On behalf of the affected students, guardians, parents and sponsors, I would like to call up the authorities within the University, and the School of Business Administration to take these students on board for registration.
They have been studying hard in tough times and are now roaming within the campus in hope of a positive response. Please give them chance to register.
