Sack Unitech administration
It is sad to see that some parents have never been concerned about the situation at Unitech, until their children had to enroll at this institution. If they had followed the issue closely they should know who is prolonging the problems and putting their children’s education at stake. I am not a parent but I have followed the issue closely for some time. If I can recall the academic staff association from day one has held numerous meetings and invited the administration to these meetings to sort out their differences. But the administration has been reluctant to come down and listen to NASA, resulting in the problems we see today. It is time they are removed from office. – Concerned observer, Lae

Rename Haus Tambaran
I support the letters from Chuave and Lae in The National. If there are some God-fearing believers in Parliament reading this right now they should propose in Parliament that the name Haus Tambaran be denounced and renamed. After 30 years of leadership from the HausTambaran nothing has or will happen, lets rename the Peoples National Parliament and start fresh. – Jay pee, via email

Don’t subsidise fees
I support the stand of Enga Governor Peter Ipatas that he should not subsidise our fees. It is a good decision because we Engans are always far below in academic achievements compared with other students. Please Ipatas, don’t misuse money on us and use them to upgrade roads and other departments. – Maip Murukes, DWU

Bulldog Track an alternative
The Kokoda Track may be mined, but we still have the “Bulldog Track”, which is untouched and unexplored. It will definitely provide an alternative adventure route for trackers. It links Kakoro Station in Gulf province and Wau in Morobe. – George Willie, POM
