Another Telikom gimmick?

I would like to challenge Telikom’s claim of being able to offer an “electronic recharge” of mobile phones.
This suggests a way of recharging your mobile phone credits without having to call 1250 and manually entering a pre-paid card number.
I would expect “electronic recharge” to mean that after paying at the “Telipay” outlet I would give them my phone number and they would enter the credits directly through the computer system.
This is not the case. I found out that “electronic recharge” is just a way of purchasing a pre-paid voucher using your plastic bank card.
They just print out your pre-paid number on a receipt instead of a card and you still have to dial up 1250 and enter your pre-paid number.
This is nothing new because many pre-paid card outlets like major shops and phone dealers already accept payment by bank cards.
B Mobile users cannot recharge their phone at times when they cannot get through to the 1250 number. Sometimes the network is busy and you can’t get through to 1250, and sometimes 1250 are out of order.
Wouldn’t it be great if Telipay could direct-recharge your units via the computer system?
This is just another marketing gimmick.
