Kiunga market is a mess, needs refurbisment

I’m a good fisherman who earns my living selling fish at the market. Some of the fish that I catch are more favourable and many people are happy to pay a genuine price and buy without hesitation.
However, sellers like me face an adverse situation at the Kiunga market, where there are no benches to place our wares and no shelter from rain and sun.
The blame goes to the councillors, the former member for North Fly and the Governor, who had made bad decisions by removing the old market without caring about the needs of the people.
I hope the authorities can let us know when the new market is going to be opened. We can’t continue to sell our products on the ground. It’s unhygienic for our valued buyers and conditions are very difficult for us as sellers.
