Wato in charge of Fox assault

By SAMPSON BONAI
STRIKER Clifford Wate will lead Tuguba Laitepo Morobe Kumuls when they meet Madang Fox in Telikom NSL clash at LFA Park tomorrow.
Wate, who has just returned back from holidays, will partner team mate Lesly Nate who had been called into the side to replace six of Kumuls players who are away on representative duties in Fiji.
Midfielders Ken Gule, Armstrong Peka and Edmond Lalo are still nursing injuries and Samson Steven and Goroba Tawa had been called into the side to add strength in the midfield area.
Team manager Stanley Kanai said yesterday that he will not release any names of the line-up to the media, but added that they will not take the game against Madang Fox lightly.
“We respect Fox as a tough fighting outfit that have come back strongly in round two of the competition and will not be taking them lightly and will fire at all front,” Kanai said.
Madang Fox, who had risen out of the ashes, had sounded a warning to all established clubs in NSL competition that they should not be written off too early because they fancy their chances in sneaking into the top five.
Fox coach Amos Romo also could not disclose any names of his possible line-up to the media yesterday but it is understood that he will field the same side that lost to Fighters last weekend.
