Eligible voters missing from roll

I AM surprised to see a big drop in the number of eligible voters in Southern Highlands on the updated common roll.
Recently, when I visited the Electoral Commission office, I found out that the figures shown were two times less then in previous years.
I don’t know which common roll the Electoral Commission will use, with only three months remaining before the general election.
If it uses the updated one, then it will be vulnerable to many unexpected problems.
One major problem is the ommission of eligible voters in a bid to remove ghost names on the roll.
The other is the lack of understanding of the limited preferential voting system.
If what is happening in SHP also occurs throughout the nation, the Electoral Commission should not be saying that it is prepared for the national election.
