Making the grade... Port Moresby’s waterfront workers were busy last Friday hauling tonnes of tuna by forklift from fishing trawlers to storages freezers and processed for overseas markets. All the catches are tested immediately after being off-loaded and weighed for their freshness, according to wharf authorities. The ‘A-Grade’ tuna are instantly airlifted to international markets in Europe, America and Asia. The ones that do not make the grade (above) are sold locally to institutional catering outlets including mining sites and educational institutions. – Nationalpic by EKA KEAPU
