Warriors armed to take on Tarangau

By MUSARIKE ANANGAI
KSPA Dobo Warriors are intent on improving on their 28-12 victory over Souths last week when they take on Hekari Tarangau in the main game of the Port Moresby rugby league on Sunday.
Club secretary Mathias Jack said while the task will not be easy, the club has had a good start to the season and are intent on maintaining their form.
"We want to play three times better than last week", he said yesterday. "With the momentum that we have, we don't want to slow down".
They will be led by inspirational captain Thomas Ninkama and tackling machine Lazen Marabe who can rely on assistance from fullback and Wali Vele Raiders squad member Andrew Stone.
Dobo has won three matches going into the fifth round, and currently shares second spot with Royals, Magani, Brothers and Hawks.
Their only loss was to Royals two weeks ago when they got run down in the last ten minutes.
The Butterflies are the only undefeated team in what has been an even opening four rounds with several teams sharing positions; Butterflies (7), Royals, Magani, Brothers, Hawks, Dobo (6), Kone Tigers, Tarangau, Paga (4), Post Puma (3), Waliya, Souths (2), Defence, West (0).
Also on Sunday, PNG Recycling Waliya will face last week's big winners Euro Builders Magani led by in-form fullback Burau Burau who has scored four tries in the past two matches.
However, Magani will miss the services of ace goal kicker Oala Frank (five from five last week) through injury.
Coach Ivan Ravu has indicated he may make several changes in the halves, hooker and centres because of the options he has through players coming back from injury.
In the other matches on Saturday, Souths will take on last-placed West, Brothers meet Paga while the Kone Tigers will have their hands full against an in-form Royals outfit who will be out to record a fourth straight victory.
On Sunday Defence takes on Post Puma while front runners Butterflies will play Hawks.
