Lae Tech leads in LFA opener

LAE Tech are leading the men's pool "A" in the Lae Football Association pre-season competition ladder after round two of the games at the LFA Park.
The students are leading with nine points followed behind by Barbarians on five, West (Yelllow) four, LBC Esso (1) four, BM Cosmos four, Bililong and Panamex are both tied on one point apiece.
In pool "B" West (Green) and City United are tied on six points, LBC Poro, Cape Nelson and Blue Kumuls are all on four points, Marie three, LBC Esso (2) one, and BM Cosmos yet to register a point.
Mopi leads the women's division with four points followed by Bara on three, Adco two and Barbarians one.
In pool "B", City United beat Marie 5-0, West Green LBC beat Esso 6-0, Blue Kumuls beat LBC Esso(2) 1-0 and LB Poro beat BM Cosmos 6-0.
In pool "A" LBC Esso beat Bililong 4-1, West (Yellow) vs Barbarians 1-1, and Lae Tech beat for BM Cosmos 2-1.
In the women's division Adco forced a nil-all draw with Barbarians and Mopi beat Bara 1-0.
In pool "B" on Sunday, City United beat BM Cosmos 2-0, West (Green) beat Marie 2-0, Nelson vs LBC Esso 1-1; and LB Poro vs Blue Kumuls 1-1.
In pool "A" West (Yellow) thrashed Lae Tech 4-0, Panamex drew 1-all with LBC Esso, and BM Cosmos beat Barbarians 2-0.
