CD fever
Everywhere all over PNG
A monster has infiltrated
Every household
Its victims
Often school age children
Very destructive as HIV
It numbs the thinking mind
Paving access for violence
Disrespect and disassociation
From the Melanesian culture
Which become habitual syndromes
Apart from parental control
And maintaining
Our cultural heritage
Nothing can thwart
Its killing fever

Catch the wind
Who can stop the wind
from sweeping through the trees?
It runs through my fingers
and always seems to tease.
I hold my cap on tightly
and brace myself to race
directly to the bus stop
and try to stay in place.
Though we can't see the wind itself
we know what it can do
to keep the world in motion
blowing down a thing or two.
Lord, I'm sure your mighty power
is greater than the wind.
You made the earth so large and great
to place your people in.
Lord, show me every day
the way my life should be.
Though I'll never catch the wind
I can feel your love for me.

Photogenic
...just couldn't pass her by
without analysis
like something sour aching on your sweet tooth
her long ebony complexions
very ethiopian
becoming a regular visitor
to my image screen
her whereabouts? boram...??
i visualise the lusty saltwater
washing off her curves and skin
in slow and sexy motion
and very impatient salt collecting
refusing to wash off soon
and i suffer from salt-deficiency
needing to taste her on my tongue
but she's untouchable
she's breathing
from the safest place she can ever be
within the frame of my perception
while i experiment and fall hard
upon my own vanity
looking up at her
...continue...
like the centre-fold pin-up
on the ceo's office wall
that girl is swimming in my head
that girl is strutting in my face
while my flashes go off...
