| OHE must allow OC to probe Unitech | |
|
THE ongoing problems at Unitech are
due to maladministration by the vice-chancellor and his executives. Students have tried their best to have them removed but to no avail as we lack the resources and support of the National Government. I appeal to the Office of Higher Education to order another investigation but this time, let it be done by the Ombudsman Commission. We do not wish to boycott classes as our parents have spent a lot of money on our tuition fees. It is shameful to read in the media the vice-chancellor’s claims that there have been many improvements at the university. The truth is that the situation has gone from bad to worse. The vice-chancellor is hardly at the university and we know that he travels overseas frequently. Jayphy Wane, Port Moresby |
