Let us move PNG forward

WE need a Kirapim PNG Movement of people who want real development in their rural areas and who will work proactively towards it.
We will work to maintain what services we have and contribute to building new ones.
We must demand the same commitment from others.
We must work with our local level governments (LLGs) and district authorities to develop a district development plan.
During the campaign period for the coming general election, the KPM can hold forums for candidates to tell the people their policies and development plans.
We can support those who have a good development plan, prioritising projects accordingly to deliver services to the people and to stimulate economic activities.
When elected, the MP and government agencies will be mandated to deliver on the approved District Development Plan.
If the MP and district officers do not deliver half of the planned projects by his third year in office, we can initiate legal action against him and others responsible.
If Papua New Guineans continue to do nothing, those in authority will continue to misuse resources, resulting in a lack of new development and continued deterioration of existing infrastructure.
Socio-economic development can only happen if basic infrastructure is in place.
We must act now. We have been the silent majority for too long.
Let us create such a movement in each district and LLG which can influence our destiny.
