Socialism could be answer to problems
YES, blame the system for all our
failures and weaknesses in this country.
This country is headed for disaster unless our government system
is changed.
The system of government for PNG as currently practiced is
unsuitable and serves only the 20% of our country’s population.
Our country’s progress is lagging behind and many of our people
are getting poorer and poorer everyday because our top bureaucrats
are using and manipulating the system to suit their greedy needs.
Democracy and capitalism is designed to create competition and
competition is evil.
It is this ideology which is creating the gap between the haves
and have-nots.
It is democracy that is forcing the have-nots to rob, kill,
vandalise and rape.
The youths, streets kids, those involved in prostitution, those
who are landless and those who are jobless should know that they
are supposed to benefit from the workings of democracy.
Yet after 31 years, nothing tangible has reached our citizens.
Leaders and top bureaucrats are continuously robbing this nation
of its benefits.
They are continuously breaking laws and then binding this same
laws to save themselves from being punished.
Fifty years ago Russia, China and Cuba were criticised for
spreading socialism.
The whole world was led to believe that socialism was bad but
these countries have survived. Their economics are catching up and
the people are well off in terms of fairness and equity.
Health and education services are very good and free of charge.
Democracy is weakening. Why should PNG cling onto a system which
has failed its people?
Why should the have-nots support a system that is hell bent on
suppressing them?
Our forefathers had no knowledge of this evil system back in their
villages.
Democracy was never part of our Melanesian culture and system.
Socialism is in fact in the Melanesian flesh and blood. Wantok
system is socialism. Caring and sharing is socialism.
It is time young leaders of today mobilised and called for a
revolution.
Socialism can bring justice and fairness to the people.
