Tigers too powerful in Stormy weather

The Bolo-sponsored Paeaiki Tigers proved too strong for Grave Yard Storms defeating them 2-1 in the Nine-Mile Touch Association clash in Port Moresby on Sunday.
Richard Avosa and Henry Apo scored for Tigers while Solomon Toivita saved his team from embarrassement by scoring a try.
The game was very tight but Tigers had the experience to see them walk away as winners.
In the curtainraiser match, Hardly Rocks edged out Middle Dogs 2-1, Siri Siri Kotor hammered Rouna Brothers 3-1, Left Over Raiders just managed to beat Mosquitoes 4-3, Six Street Cowboys drew with DarkStreet Brothers 2-all, Alfie Sharks too good for Heafo Saints winning by one point 5-4, and Gabalea Roosters thrashed Gateway Bombers 4-1.
The results for the B grade games played on Saturday were G/Roosters 2 drew with G/Bombers 2, Six Street Cowboys 3 edged out Dark Street Bros 2, A/Sharks 3 defeated H/Saints 2, SS Kotor 4 beat Rouna Bros 3, L/O Raiders 1 drew with Mosquitoes 1, H/Rocks 7 thrashed M/Dogs 2 and Bolo P/Tigers 3 beat GY Storms 1.
