Cricket grand final time

By MUSARIKE ANANGAI
AT least eight PNG representatives will be involved in the Port Moresby Hebou Cricket grand final at Amini Park tomorrow.
Poreporena take on United and either team has every reason to win this one.
Both teams will be captained by PNG players Rarua Dikana (BNG Poreporena) and John Ovia (SNS United).
Poreporena’s capped players include Dikana and star batsmen Mahuru Dai and Assad Vala while United will have Ovia, Vani Vagi Morea, Frank Doura, John Haoda and Loa Nou.
Most of the players played for the three PNG teams against the visiting MCC team early this month.
Likely line-up Poreporena: Ovia, Doura, Morea, Jack Vare, Kapena Arua, Agi Reva, Seia Ovia, Sam Toua Gamu, Alois Nori, John Haoda and Loa Nou.
United: R Dikana, M Dai, Kohu Dai, Assad Vala, Dou Mavara, Arua Dikana, John Boge Rava, Oala Seura, Udu Vai, Jack Ebani and William Gavera.
Poreporena captured the two-day title in early February and are aiming to bag the one day title as well while United recorded its last one day victory during the 2004-05 season.
