Intending candidate teaches LPV

By JAMES APA GUMUNO
AN intending candidate for the Kundiawa/Gembogl Open seat is taking the initiative to educate his voters about the limited preferential voting (LPV) system.
Paul Mirawo, who is going to be endorsed by the Kulkane Gigekane, the biggest tribe in the Gembogl sub-district, said it was very important for voters to understand the new voting process before going to polls.
He said the Electoral Commission tried its best to educate the people about the new changes but it was also important for the intending candidates to help educate their own people living in rural areas about the changes as well.
Mr Mirawo took time during the Easter break to educate people in his area.
