Kunai set to switch party

JIMI MP Francis Kunai made his intention known yesterday that he would leave the PNG National Party and team up with another political party.
Mr Kunai said he decided to move after alleging that the national president of the PNG National Party John Munnul backstabbed him by endorsing another candidate for the Jimi Open in the coming election.
He said he would move any time next week to join another political party but was reluctant to name the party he was joining.
Attempts made to get in touch with MrMunnul and national co-ordinator Joe Mek Teine yesterday were unsuccessful.
