Bulldogs keen to get up

YOU can teach an old dog new tricks. But for Brian Bell Bulldogs rugby league team, certainly the opposition should expect something new this season.
Despite missing the services of Geno Kima and skipper Emmanuel Palme this year, coach Chris Enara is confident that his boys will make the top four this season.
"We want to exceed the last year's performance and make the top four meaning the team have to win more games," the Bulldogs coach said.
Both Kima and Palme were unavailable for selection, Bulldogs have acquired the services of Toyota Mioks rejects Kevin Frank and Suckling Danage to beef their attacking power.
Frank has been the most underrated centre in last year's competition with workhorse Danage. Both Frank and Danage played for Tarangau last year but Danage have parted to greener pastuer with Waliya Football Club in the Port Moresby competition.
The team also secured the services of Roy Tela and Simon Tonge from Wari Vele Raiders while Johnson Kuike, Thomas Ninkama, Benjamin John, Larzen Marabe are still in the team to ensure the Dogs move one step better this season.
Exciting player Burau Burau from Magani club is also another player, the opposing SP Cup team will have to watch out for.
Coach Enara tipped Jessie Joe, Marabe and Kuike as the game breaker with exciting prospect Elizah Riyong who should stamp his mark on the SP Cup scene this season.
The full squad is:Burau Burau, Elizah Riyong, Kevin Frank, Lazen Marabe, Charles Onguglo, Jessie Joe, Brian Apo, Thomas Ninkama, Andrew McKiwa, Roy Tela, Simon Tonge, Aaron Mulunga, Johnson Kuike, Benjamin John, Suckling Danage, Steven Johns, Joshua Poria and Vali Kapa
