Second round of Endurance run on

Round two of the 2007 Port Moresby Road Runners Endurance Challenge will be held tomorrow at the Taurama Leisure Centre, starting at 5pm.
The distance is 6.7 kilometres. Milton Iakosi, aiming for his third successive title, is a class above everyone else at the moment and is a red-hot favourite to take out the race.
On Easter Saturday, he was in scintillating touch in the 9.4km Ela Beach event, defeating the 1997 Endurance Challenge champion, Swans Pinampio, by more than two minutes.
There were two other former titleholders strutting their stuff last Saturday, Gumsie Taulobi and David Reuben, but they don't have the current form to challenge Iakosi.
There is a shorter race on tomorrow's card, over 2.7 km, which will suit the juniors and those looking for a lighter workout. Road Running events are for all standards of walkers and runners. Everyone who participates is a winner. The entry fee is 20 toea.
